Members of Ukwu-Nzu Community and its environs have expressed their profound joy and appreciation for being beneficiaries of the 2-Day free medical outreach organized by OMIWA Foundation in Collaboration with Anioma Medical Professionals Forum (AMPF), from Saturday 17th- Sunday 18th December. The outreach is aimed at catering for the Health Care needs of Indegenes of Ukwu-Nzu and its environs.

  The free medical outreach held at the Primary Health Center in Ukwu-Nzu Community and witnessed a turn out of over 500 patients who are from Ukwu-Nzu and other neighbouring Communities.  It featured Free consultations and counseling, free drugs distribution, free eye screening and dispensing of eye lenses, free laboratory assay, health talk on common ailments, nutrition tips, Physiotherapy Care and Counseling.

  The outreach also had an Eye Clinic setup to screen patients of eye related issues and  Eye Lens, eye drops and drugs were dispensed at no cost at this unit as well.

  The convener and Founder of Anioma Medical Professionals Forum (AMPF), Dr Awunor Alexander Chidubem had a Health talk with the people briefly before commencement of the outreach where he advised them to avoid self-medication and strictly adhere to professional advice from medical practitioners. He also gave them healthy nutritional tips that will assist  them in dealing with age-related health conditions and illnesses such as diabetes, elevated blood pressure and others.

 

 

  OMIWA Foundation USA Board Member, Dr Afam Nwonye, Dr Diane Nwonye and a Teacher and author from the United States of America, Mrs Andrea Bell-Myers and AMPF Members paid a Courtesy Visit to The Member representing Aniocha North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Nwaobi who was in company of top Government dignitaries. He expressed gratitude to members of OMIWA foundation and Anioma Medical Professionals Forum(AMPF) and thanked them for their giant strides and unwavering effort in ensuring an improvement in the Health Standard of the People through  the free medical services they render.

  Responding, The Founder and Convener of Anioma Medical Professionals Forum(AMPF) Dr Alexander Chidubem Awunor thanked Hon.Emeka Nwaobi for his Hospitality and king gesture.

  The Facilitator of OMIWA Foundation, Mr Tohan Okenyi thanked Hon. Emeka Nwaobi and members of AMPF for their unwavering efforts in ensuring that the outreach was a success. Also, there was Group photograph with Hon. Emeka Nwaobi  and his entourage, and members of Anioma Medical Professionals Forum.

 Some of the beneficiaries also thanked the collaborators for the services rendered to them in their Community.
